Areas covered
Where I work.
Based in Sheffield and working across the S postcodes, with regular projects in Rotherham, Chesterfield, Dronfield, Barnsley, Doncaster and the Peak District fringe.
Sheffield
Building and renovation across the city
Sheffield covers everything from stone-built Victorian terraces to post-war semis and new-build estates, and the right approach changes completely between them. Being based in the city means site visits are quick and material deliveries are straightforward.
Sheffield is the main working area, so the full range of work — extensions, loft and dormer conversions, roofing, structural alterations, kitchens, bathrooms and whole-house renovations — is covered city-wide. The homepage sets out how I work and what a project involves, and every job is priced from a site survey.

Other areas I cover
Ranmoor
Ranmoor is characterised by substantial stone-built period properties, several within conservation areas, where roofing and stonework need traditional detailing.
Hillsborough
Hillsborough is mostly terraced and semi-detached housing, where loft conversions, rear dormers and kitchen-diner knock-throughs are the most common ways to gain space.
Nether Edge
Nether Edge has a large conservation area and a lot of Victorian stock, so roofing, stonework and window detailing are held to a higher standard than elsewhere in the city.
Broomhill
Broomhill combines period villas with converted flats, much of it within a conservation area, so any external alteration needs to be designed with planning in mind.
Millhouses
Millhouses has substantial semis and detached homes with good-sized rear gardens, which suits single and two-storey rear extensions.
Bradway
Bradway is largely post-war detached and semi-detached housing, well suited to garage conversions, rear extensions and loft conversions with straightforward Permitted Development.
Rotherham
Rotherham and the surrounding villages are covered for extensions, roofing, renovations and structural work, with the same survey-first approach used in Sheffield.
Doncaster
Doncaster is covered for larger projects such as extensions, re-roofing and full renovations where a site visit can be scheduled in advance.
Chesterfield
Chesterfield and north Derbyshire are within the regular working area, including extensions, roofing and whole-house renovations.
Barnsley
Barnsley and the surrounding area are covered for extensions, roofing and renovation work.
Dronfield
Dronfield sits between Sheffield and Chesterfield and is a regular working area for extensions, loft conversions and roofing.
Bakewell
Bakewell and the Peak District fringe are covered for renovation and roofing work, where stone and traditional detailing are usually part of the specification.
If your property sits just outside these areas, it's still worth asking — travel is judged job by job. Call 07983 267926 or request a quote and I'll tell you honestly whether I can take it on.
